On Monday (9/18) we went to the Cobb County Youth Museum for their historical presentation of the American Revolution called American Pathways to Independence. The program lasted two hours and included a puppet show on the life of Benjamin Franklin, and a interactive look at the American Revolutionary War from the Boston Tea Party to signing of the Declaration of Independence. The docen

ts at the museum played Abigail Adams and Deborah Samson and in between "tellings" of events, the children took turns portraying people and events. The children had a wonderful time and it made history come to life before their eyes. Our own Cornflower played a British patriot and General Cornwallis. The first photo shows her as Cornwallis and the second shows her and two friends as members of the Continental Congress.
